ALLAH -- a poem by Okasha Naqvi, 15, New Jersey There will always be a moment, when you think all hope is gone, You search and search until on you it finally dawns. There has always been One that looked after you for your best. There has always been One that helped you get through every test. That One who you cannot see But in whom you do truly believe. The Exalted,The High! In which you could always find strength to cope Never ever lose hope in ALLAH It is ALLAH who helped you stand up to that bully in the first grade, It was ALLAH who showed you everything He made. It was ALLAH who held your trust as you prayed to win the science fair, and whenever you cried, you knew that ALLAH was always there. It was ALLAH who gave you the things you always wished you had, it was ALLAH who disciplined you and gave you wisdom to know. It was ALLAH who helped you live, when you think you’re ready to die, it was ALLAH who helped you acknowledge the truth and never to tell a lie. It was ALLAH who helped you through the SAT’s it was ALLAH who listened when you asked for forgiveness on your knees. It was ALLAH who helped you get your favorite car, and it was only ALLAH who stood by your side when you went away so far. It was ALLAH who helped you when you were really down, He placed His mercy i your heart, to wipe away that frown. You thank ALLAH, although you cannot see Him. You thank Him for everything, And Now you will never give up Hope, That He is always there when you need Him: because He is your ALLAH
